Placenta Encapsulation

It makes sense that the placenta almost looks like a tree with many branches - a tree of life.

Placenta Encapsulation

Our encapsulators are trained professionals and will handle your placenta with care.

Placenta encapsulation is a great way to incorporate an iron-rich supplement back into your postpartum body. Studies show this practice aids in recovery, helps promote successful lactation, and can help combat the “baby blues.” (This is not the same thing as Postpartum Depression, and if you suspect you have PPD, you should contact your care provider immediately)

Cass Martinez

Cass offers placenta encapsulation, cord keepsakes and art prints. The placenta is dehydrated at a safe temperature to kill any harmful bacteria but low enough to retain the beneficial hormones and nutrients found within the placenta. Benefits clients have seen include increased milk supply, more energy and less incidence of "baby blues".

More about Cass:

I am a mother of 4 boys, my youngest was born this spring of 2016 and my oldest in 2004! I am a co-sleeping, home birthing, breastfeeding mama. My first introduction to placenta encapsulation was when I had my own placenta encapsulated with my 3rd son. It supported my milk production so well that I was able to breastfeed through his first year and beyond without complication, AND it provided the nutrients I needed to make it through those newborn nights. It was then that I knew I had to offer this service to other mothers in this area, I spent the next several months learning, understanding and securing all the required certifications to offer this service to new mamas.

My certifications include Certified Encapsulation Specialist, Bloodborne Pathogens for Placenta Encapsulation Certificate, and my Food Safety Certificate. Having worked in the OR alongside an Ophthalmologist for 8 years, I can assure you that I maintain proper sterility of my work-space and your precious placenta. If you, or someone you know, are expecting a precious new life soon- CALL ME! Let’s talk about the wonders and benefits of this service,  I cannot wait to hear from you!
