I was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (Eh?). In 2002 our family relocated to Florida, where I met my other-half, Joshua. Three days after our wedding, we moved ourselves to Georgia with our 4 dogs... Yep, FOUR fur babies! (We have also recently adopted some chickens too!), but regardless of where in the world I have ended up living, I have continued to be a caregiver for nearly 20 years. Over the last few recent years, I really became inspired to direct my path more towards birth and postpartum support.

I am a Doula Training International (DTI) trained and certified pregnancy, birth & postpartum Doula as well as a trained Hypnobabies© Hypno-Doula (HCHD).
​
Every birth is special. Whether it takes place at the hospital or at home, vaginally or by cesarean, each is beautiful and deserving of celebration. No matter how you birth your baby, everyone can benefit from having a Doula present throughout pregnancy, the moment of birthing and beyond.

Pregnancy & Birth Support Packages Include (but certainly not limited to):

• Two prenatal visits (approximately 1 hour each) to get to know your unique preferences.

• Unlimited e-mail/text/phone support throughout pregnancy.

• Reachable 24/7 beginning three weeks prior to your estimated due date.

• Private access to the client portal that is packed with great information, articles and videos!

• Facilitation of your birth vision (comfort measures, aromatherapy, music, prayers/scriptures, etc.)

• Photos and recorded information of birth story, unless otherwise requested.

• Working with your partner (if applicable) to establish/ maintain a peaceful & positive environment.

• Working with the providers to establish rapport and ensure that you have enough information to make informed decisions about your care.

• Working with the nursing staff (if applicable) to maintain the positive language and affirmations that are encouraged throughout the journey. 

• Immediately following birth, 1-2 hours of on-site postnatal support 

• An in-home postnatal follow-up visit (approximately 2 hours).

 

Postpartum Packages Include (but certainly not limited to):

• Breastfeeding support (or referral to a lactation consultant).

• Troubleshooting with feeding and sleeping cycles.

• Spending time with your baby so you can rest, bathe, etc.

• Light household tasks (laundry, tidying, organizing, etc.).

• Assistance with after-birth healing (physically, mentally, etc.).

• Helping with baby care (and infant care if applicable)

• Run errands (grocery shopping, drop-off/ pick-ups at school or appointments, dog walking, etc.).

• Vegan meal preparation and planning.

 

Additional Services Offered:

• Bengkung Belly Binding Sessions (I also create my own wraps available for purchase)

• Overnight Postpartum Support (this can begin as soon as your first night home once baby is born).
