I am a mother of 4 boys, my youngest was born this spring of 2016 and my oldest in 2004! I am a co-sleeping, home birthing, breastfeeding mama. My first introduction to placenta encapsulation was when I had my own placenta encapsulated with my 3rd son. It supported my milk production so well that I was able to breastfeed through his first year and beyond without complication, AND it provided the nutrients I needed to make it through those newborn nights. It was then that I knew I had to offer this service to other mothers in this area, and the beginning of Sacred Root Birth Services was born. I spent the next several months learning, understanding and securing all the required certifications to offer this service to new mamas.
My certifications include Certified Encapsulation Specialist, Bloodborne Pathogens for Placenta Encapsulation Certificate, and my Food Safety Certificate. Having worked in the OR alongside an Ophthalmologist for 8 years, I can assure you that I maintain proper sterility of my work-space and your precious placenta.
